I’m sure that everyone has their own preference but I, along with 30% of the internet, use WordPress and LOVE IT. Here’s why:

The WordPress forums have millions of solved queries on them, and there are many other forums out there for anyone who is looking for help. I can tell you they’ve helped me quite a few times over the years.

Along with the good coding standards from #3, WordPress developers are continuously improving the security side of things. We live in a world with more and more hackers out there trying to find loopholes to get into sites built with WordPress. However, as long as you are keeping your version of WordPress and plugins updated then WordPress is perfectly safe.
